A typical campaign will involve a two- to six- week promotional period, leading up to an actual eBay auction or set-sale event. During that time you can promote your event through the many means available, including banner ads on the Internet (both on and off eBay itself); through traditional media advertising venues; through public relations campaigns (remember, eBay is still big news to most media!); and through our assisted marketing to our existing customer base. All sales will be completed under the 'jayandmarie' umbrella on eBay. EBay users know us and trust us. Our reputation is the finest on eBay. You do not need to establish an account with eBay. EBay customers are often suspicious of new sellers anyway. You will be signing a short contract with us, and making delivery of your items to our facility in Southern California. We will handle the uploading of your ads and monitoring of your sales. We will answer all email requests in a timely and appropriate manner. We will ship all items to winning customers within 48 hours of the sale. We will return all unsold merchandise to you (at your expense). We will forward all monies collected from your sales, less our direct and indirect expenses and supervision fee. Our fee schedule is simple: you reimburse us for all eBay fees (including their listing fee; their final value fee; any listing upgrade fees you choose to pay for; and the fees charged by eBay's subsidiary PayPal (TM) for the delivery to us of electronic funds). You reimburse us for our direct and indirect shipping costs. Finally, you pay us a non-refundable $5,000 fee , plus $1-per-item for completed sale, for our supervision and fulfillment of your promotional event. Since most of the above costs can be passed onto your eBay winners through appropriate shipping-and-handling charges at the time of the sale, our services can effectively cost you nothing out-of-pocket. Or, you can choose to pay us directly for all of our expenses and let your eBay winners pay almost nothing to experience your product.
